To Be or Not to Be

Shakespeare's words that symbolize our true state of existence

Hamlet’s most famous soliloquy remains well known and often heard because there is such a variety in how it can be felt and said.

I decided to recite it as I would when I mull over any idea, as I write. Thinking about it first in some mental distance, but becoming more engaged as I continue. Pressing on.

Still - I never arrive.

The speech that tells of an undiscovered country is a speech that cannot be finished because it never reaches a conclusion. Hamlet, as all humans would, cannot begin to know how things will end.

Because we never do. Know, or end.

It’s not a matter of choosing to be, or not to be. In regards to anything.

We are always in dual states. All things are, and are not.

That is my take on it. What do you find in these words of Shakespeare?
